From 8 to 12 September 2027, Wolfenbüttel (Germany) will host the 22nd edition of EUROTREFF – one of the most significant international festivals for young choirs in Europe. Around 600 young singers from various countries will come together to make music, discover new repertoires and experience cultural exchange through the universal language of music.
For the upcoming edition, we have once again secured renowned international choir directors to lead the workshops: the children’s choir workshops will be led by Josep Vila Jover (Spain) and Elena Szuczies (Germany). Mixed youth choirs will work with Tori Longdon (United Kingdom) or Marleen de Boo (Belgium), whilst Maud Hamon-Loisance (France) and Laura Jēkabsone (Latvia) will lead the workshops for girls choirs.
In addition to the intensive musical work in the workshops, participants can look forward to a varied festival programme featuring concerts, meetings and numerous opportunities to forge international contacts and discover new perspectives.
We would be delighted if you could raise awareness of EUROTREFF 2027 within your networks and forward the call for applications to interested children’s, youth and girls choirs. In doing so, you will help to enable young people to enjoy unique musical and intercultural experiences.
Further information about the festival, the workshops, terms and conditions, fees and the application form can be found on our website at www.eurotreff-amj.de/en.
The deadline for applications is 31 October 2026.
