Then join us for the International Youth Chamber Choir Meeting 2026 – from 14 to 23 August 2026 – a unique choral experience in a truly special place: on the beautiful island of Usedom, right by the sea!
Just steps away from the beach, nestled in nature and on the German-Polish border, this vibrant summer gathering brings together young singers from across Europe to share music, friendship, and salty sea air in an inspiring atmosphere.
What’s waiting for you:
🎶 Three international choir ateliers led by outstanding conductors:
- Başak Doğan (Turkey) – Mixed Youth Choir: Founder of Vokal Akademi and conductor of the award-winning choir ‘Chromas’, known for her creative style combining improvisation, cultural diversity, and ‘vocal painting’.
- Basilio Astúlez (Spain) – Girls’ Choir: Renowned choir director and educator, celebrated for his work with ensembles like ‘Leioa Kantika Korala’ and ‘Vocalia Taldea’ – in demand worldwide.
- Agnes Schnabl (Austria) – Mixed Youth Choir: Award-winning conductor and lecturer at the University of Music Vienna, passionately bridging folk and art music with top-level ensembles like the Austrian Youth Choir.
What’s included in the programme:
- Around 20 hours of atelier rehearsals
- 12 concerts across the island
- Big final concert
- Surprise evening on Friday
- Choir-to-choir concerts, international hangouts & beach time
Who can apply?
Youth choirs from across Europe (up to 40 singers, aged max. 26)
Participation fee (incl. accommodation, meals & programme):
- Country Group 1: €200
- Country Group 2: €250
- Country Group 3: €300

Accommodation & Travel:
You’ll stay at the youth hostel in Trassenheide – just 100 metres from the beach!
Travel is self-organised – we’ll support you with info on bus, train & ferry options.
